Frequently Asked Questions
Our goal is to make life easier on you and your loved ones by providing care that goes above and beyond.
01. Who is eligible to receive home health care?
Generally speaking, anyone is medically eligible to receive home health care provided that there are doctor's orders for such care. That is precisely why we work directly with your physician in order to provide the best care possible. Not only does this give us valuable information regarding both your condition and needed care, but it also helps us create a paper trail that sets up your care, linking us to both your position and your insurance company. We understand that you might feel overwhelmed at a time like this, so our staff is more than happy to help walk you through each step as it pertains to your case.
02. Are the same types of services available to everyone?
At Home Advantage Home Health agency, we focus on tailoring your care to your specific needs or to the needs of your loved one. Therefore, the services provided will be directly in conjunction with the types of services needed in order to provide the best care possible. If there is something specific that you would like to inquire about, all you need to do is give us a call and ask us. If it's something that will make things easier for you or your loved one, we will find a way to make it work for you.
03. Will my insurance pay the entire cost for home health care?
If you have Medicare or Medicaid, care from a home health agency such as ours is typically covered in full. If you have a different insurance company, simply give us a call and let us help you figure out which type of services are covered.
04. What is the first step in receiving home health care?
The first step is getting a prescription for our services from your physician. Once you have that information available, all you need to do is contact us. If your doctor hasn't yet prescribed home health care but you feel like you or your loved one should qualify for it, call us and let our staff work with you in order to provide an assessment.
